IT Salaries, Job Opportunities Jump
IT Salaries, Job Opportunities Jump
The latest Hudson reports salary increases of up to 30% in the past year in information technology and related professions. Web services, ERP, .Net, and Java are particularly in demand. According to Kevin Knaul at Hudson, a specialist recruitment firm, there is heavy demand by employers. "There is definitely more demand than supply right now," he says. "It's a struggle to keep up".
In related news, the Federal Government's Graduate Destination Survey shows that Flinders graduates have lower unemployment rate than both the national and state average.
